Why should you come to a SYRUP event?
SYRUP events are the perfect way to get together with friends or switch up your date nights. We pride ourselves on our events being inclusive and creating an environment for everyone to be authentic.
Our events always have a presenter who will run you through the show and will make sure those dreaded, awkward silences between acts are FILLED. Our presenters ensure that you enjoy every minute of the show.
At each SYRUP event, 3 or 4 up and coming artists will perform. We obviously ask for our audience to be respectful but at SYRUP, this doesn’t mean you have to be SILENT throughout the entire evening. We still want you to have fun!! We encourage all questionable dance moves and any cheering and engagement in support of our acts.
Unlike other live music events, we ensure our musicians and performers are paid, REGARDLESS of ticket sales. That means, our artists can actually enjoy performing at our shows because payment is already GUARANTEED. Payment is made within the first 7 days (INCLUDING WEEKENDS) after an event because, at SYRUP, we want our musicians to feel valued and shown the respect they deserve. This also means, that all applications submitted will be acknowledged AND upon request, feedback can be given.
Lastly, because all our artists have to APPLY TO PLAY, this means we only pick the best of the best to perform. Every SYRUP event is unique but the quality is always the same.
